Today is day 2 of a fast. Very light headed at times. Everything pared down. Note the desire to simplify, clear-out. Feel pretty good. As always, hunger comes and goes.

Yesterday - first day always rather difficult - spent researching family tree - a great way to avoid awareness!! Dad's family goes back to Frederick Roland 1698 to 1755 and John Long who was a plantation owner in Delaware and corporal in Revolution. (Here's to ya DAR!) One of his daughters married a 2nd cousin of the mother of George Washington. Go figure that connection.

A great way to waste time and puff the ego. Still it's kind of fun. Today I'd like to go into Asheville and see the Indian movie "Water." It's really interesting to watch while fasting. I can see how I ground myself through food - and will have to find another way to ground or float away! ha, ha.

Many adventures in California. Good connections with family, Cici's Mom, Jacque and Ray. Will let pictures tell story elsewhere.

The air feels different here. Good to breathe here; good to breathe there. Late luggage arrived today. Getting settled into home...interesting. Cats both following me around from room to room. Still fuzzy-headed from all-nighter on plane.
